Handling Reader Information
This notice explains the information involved in reading the website, preparing a local note and choosing to contact us.
Who is responsible
Pickleparadepopixa Instrument Media Ltd is the controller for personal information it handles through this publication and editorial correspondence. Our registered office is 29 New Street, Salisbury SP1 2PH, United Kingdom; company number 15902874. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions or rights requests.
Website access
Delivering a website involves technical information such as an IP address, requested page, request time, browser information and error records. Hosting and security providers may process these details to deliver pages, investigate faults and protect the service. The purposes are operation and security, based on our legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable publication. This website’s own code does not include analytics, advertising pixels or cross-site profiling.
The local note editor
The subject and message entered on the Contact page are processed in your browser. The editor does not submit them to a server or save drafts in localStorage. Copy Note writes the prepared text to your clipboard if you permit it. Download Note creates a text file on your device. Your browser, operating system, clipboard history or backup services may retain material independently; use their settings to manage it.
When you send email
If you separately send an email, we receive your email address, message, attachments and associated correspondence information. We use it to consider your enquiry, check a correction and respond where appropriate. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in managing editorial correspondence; legal obligations may also require particular records to be retained. Please do not send sensitive information or personal information about other people unless necessary and lawful.
Storage and service providers
Our preference tool stores a choice on your device as explained in the Cookies notice. Hosting and email providers may process information on our behalf. We do not sell reader information. If a provider processes personal information outside the United Kingdom, applicable safeguards are required, such as adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual protections.
Retention
We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, editorial records, security or legal obligations. Relevant factors include whether an issue remains unresolved and whether records are needed to document a correction or dispute. Technical records should be retained only for their operational and security purpose. Locally downloaded notes remain under your control until you delete them.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom.
External links and changes
Source links take you to independent websites with their own privacy practices. This notebook is not directed at collecting children’s information. We may revise this notice when the website’s practices change and will update the effective date. Contact us if you need clarification before sharing information.
